Job Summary
A company is looking for a Care Center Agent - Part-Time.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedules appointments for patients by phone and maintains an accurate scheduling system
- Obtains referrals, authorizations, and verifies insurance information for patients
- Communicates with supervisors regarding patient concerns and performs additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum: Proven basic computer skills and ability to type 35 words per minute
- Preferred: One year of experience in a switchboard, medical practice, or call center
