Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Center Agent to serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing information and assistance over the phone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments for patients by phone, following medical practice protocols
  • Maintain an accurate scheduling system and ensure timely updates to the master schedule
  • Obtain referrals, authorizations, and verify patient insurance information
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Minimum: Proven basic computer skills and ability to type 35 words per minute
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a switchboard, medical practice, or call center
