Job Summary
A company is looking for a Care Center Agent to serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing information and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments for patients by phone and manage the scheduling system
- Obtain referrals, authorizations, and verify insurance information
- Communicate with supervisors regarding patient concerns and system issues
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Proven basic computer skills and ability to type 35 words per minute
- Preferred one year of experience in a switchboard, medical practice, or call center
