Job Summary

Acting as the first point of contact for patients, the full-time Care Center Agent will schedule appointments, verify insurance information, and provide exceptional customer service, with the option for remote work following initial onsite training.

Key responsibilities
  • Schedules patient appointments by phone, utilizing time management and customer service skills
  • Maintains accurate scheduling records and updates the master schedule promptly
  • Obtains referrals, authorizations, and verifies patient demographic and insurance information
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven basic computer skills with the ability to type at least 35 words per minute
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a switchboard, medical practice, or call center
  • Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology
