Job Summary

Acting as the first point of contact for patients, the full-time Care Center Agent will schedule appointments, verify insurance information, and provide exceptional customer service while working remotely after initial onsite training.

Key responsibilities
  • Schedules patient appointments by phone and communicates effectively about their needs
  • Maintains an accurate scheduling system and promptly updates records for cancellations or additions
  • Obtains referrals, authorizations, and demographic information while verifying insurance details for reimbursement
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven basic computer skills with the ability to type at least 35 words per minute
  • Preferred experience of one year in a switchboard, medical practice, or call center
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
