Job Summary

To provide exceptional support to patients, the full-time Care Center Agent will manage appointment scheduling, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate records while working remotely after initial onsite training.

Key responsibilities
  • Schedules patient appointments by phone, utilizing customer service skills and medical practice protocols
  • Maintains and updates the scheduling system to ensure accuracy and efficiency in patient access
  • Obtains and verifies patient referrals, authorizations, and demographic information for insurance reimbursement
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Medical Terminology preferred
  • Proven basic computer skills with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
  • One year of experience in a switchboard, medical practice, or call center preferred
