The full-time Care Center Agent will serve as the primary contact for patients seeking information and assistance via phone, responsible for scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining accurate records, with a fully-remote option available after initial onsite training.

Key responsibilities
  • Schedules patient appointments by phone, utilizing effective time management and customer service skills
  • Maintains an accurate scheduling system to analyze patient and staffing patterns, ensuring timely updates
  • Obtains necessary referrals and demographic information while verifying insurance details for reimbursement maximization
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven basic computer skills with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
  • Preferred experience of one year in a switchboard, medical practice, or call center setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
