Care Consultant Helpline Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Consultant/Helpline Counselor to provide guidance and support to individuals who reach out to the nationwide 24/7 Helpline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to provide short-term telephone consultation in a professional and compassionate manner
• Link callers to education, support, local community resources, and emergency/crisis services if needed
• Handle high emotion, trauma, and grief of callers with calmness and empathy

Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling required, licensure (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC) preferred
• 1 year of experience, 2-3 years' experience preferred
• Able to work a flexible schedule (day, evening, weekend, or holidays)
• Work is conducted within a virtual contact center environment with specific home office requirements
