Job Summary
Working remotely full-time, the Care Coordinator will manage inbound and outbound calls to provide one-call resolutions, report adverse events, and process patient referrals and applications while ensuring a supportive experience for patients.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, determining needs and providing resolutions
- Create and complete accurate referrals and applications while staying updated on policy changes
- Investigate and resolve patient and physician inquiries in a timely manner
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of call center practices and procedures preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies preferred
- Ability to effectively use proprietary software for task completion preferred
