Care Coordinator Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient care coordination, the full-time Care Coordinator Auth Scheduling Specialist will manage referrals, obtain authorizations, and schedule services while working remotely Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Complete patient referrals and coordinate with various practices and departments
• Obtain necessary authorizations and prepare financial estimates for patients
• Schedule surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely coordination

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with insurance coverage and medical necessity policies preferred
• Computer proficiency is required
• Customer service experience is necessary
• Knowledge of medical records software preferred
