Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Coordinator - Auth - Scheduling Specialist - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completes referrals for patients and coordinates with referring and receiving practices and/or departments
  • Obtains necessary authorizations and directs patients to providers within their insurance plan
  • Coordinates and schedules surgical procedures and diagnostic testing, ensuring accuracy in scheduling
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Computer experience required
  • Thorough understanding of insurance coverage and medical necessity policies preferred
  • Knowledge of medical records software preferred
  • Customer service experience required
