Job Summary
A company is looking for a Care Coordinator - Auth - Scheduling Specialist - REMOTE.
Key Responsibilities
- Completes referrals for patients and coordinates with referring and receiving practices and/or departments
- Obtains necessary authorizations and directs patients to providers within their insurance plan
- Coordinates and schedules surgical procedures and diagnostic testing, ensuring accuracy in scheduling
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Computer experience required
- Thorough understanding of insurance coverage and medical necessity policies preferred
- Knowledge of medical records software preferred
- Customer service experience required
