Key Responsibilities

• Complete and process patient referrals, coordinating between practices or departments
• Secure required authorizations and schedule surgical procedures and diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on insurance coverage and financial responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior computer experience required
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage and medical necessity guidelines preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records or medical record software preferred
• Customer service experience required
