Care Manager - Remote

Job Summary

Contacting insurance companies and assisting patients, the full-time Care Manager - Remote will perform benefit investigations, manage copay assistance, and check prior authorization statuses while working in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform outbound calls to gather eligibility information and document accurately
• Assist customers with pharmacy-related services through inbound calls
• Provide support for prior authorizations and appeals, ensuring adherence to HIPAA guidelines

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience in medical billing, reimbursement, or insurance verification
• Previous data entry experience with a typing speed of 30wpm or more
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs and soft phone systems
• Ability to work in a virtual team environment and maintain a distraction-free workspace
