Job Summary
Serving as the primary "air traffic controller" for field logistics, the part-time CareConnect Coordinator will triage incoming requests and strategically schedule in-home visits for CareConnect RNs across a multi-state region in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the central communication hub for urgent care dispatch requests, managing and prioritizing multiple simultaneous requests efficiently
- Utilize geographic knowledge and mapping tools to optimize travel routes and ensure accurate, timely dispatching of clinicians
- Maintain continuous communication with Urgent Care Clinicians and clinical leadership while navigating multiple software platforms
Required qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare practice or hospital preferred
- Prior experience in medical dispatch, logistics, or high-volume care coordination strongly preferred
- Strong geographic understanding and spatial reasoning skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Electronic Health Records, and scheduling software
