Job Summary
Providing individualized career support to military spouses, the full-time remote Career Advisor will assess needs, connect clients with educational and employment opportunities, and manage case documentation within a fast-paced contact center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess military spouses' needs and provide tailored resources and recommendations for education and career opportunities
- Schedule career coaching appointments and assist with troubleshooting website access related to SpouseWorks programs
- Maintain case management systems and manage scholarship accounts for military spouses
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in educational, career, or employment advising for diverse adult populations
- Three years of experience in training development, public speaking, and group facilitation, preferably in adult education
- Two years of experience supervising or overseeing social services or education programs
- U.S. Citizenship is required for access to government systems
- Strong technology and research skills, with the ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously
