Career Advisor

Job Summary

Providing individualized career support to military spouses, the part-time Career Advisor will assess needs, offer education and career advising, and connect clients with resources while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain readiness in a fast-paced contact center environment to assist military spouses
• Provide education and career advising, including recommendations for online education and financial assistance
• Schedule career coaching appointments and manage case documentation in the government-provided system

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience in educational or career advising
• Three years of experience in training development and public speaking, preferably in adult education
• Two years of experience supervising social services or education programs
• U.S. Citizenship required for access to government systems
• Strong technology and research skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
