Career Planning Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Career Planning Counselor to provide guidance to college students and their families regarding career planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct phone counseling sessions and seminars on major and career exploration
• Provide feedback on student resumes and essays, and assist with inquiries
• Collaborate with coaching staff and contribute to internal projects related to career planning

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in education, psychology, or a related field
• Five years of experience in career advising in a university setting
• Experience advising high school students and families is a plus
• Familiarity with alternatives to four-year degree pathways is advantageous
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends
