Caribbean Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

Focusing on strategic partnerships, the part-time Caribbean Engagement Specialist will identify and manage collaborations with various stakeholders in the Caribbean and EU, working remotely to implement UNOPS engagement strategies and enhance visibility across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted market analysis to identify opportunities for UNOPS interventions in the Dutch-speaking Caribbean and OCTs
• Cultivate and manage relationships with high-level stakeholders, including EU delegations and regional bodies
• Develop bespoke value propositions and oversee the strategic pipeline for new business leads aligned with UNOPS' strategic mandates

Required qualifications

• A Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, Political Science, Communications, or International Relations
• At least 5 years of experience in international development, including partnership and program development
• Experience working with EU governments and/or Caribbean OCTs
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish, Dutch, or French is desirable
• Demonstrated experience in project development and proposal writing
