Job Summary
Developing strategic business partnerships with outside service providers, the full-time remote Carrier Sales Representative will manage load boards, negotiate rates, and maintain relationships with carrier accounts to effectively support customer capacity solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop capacity solutions to support customers effectively
- Manage load boards to match freight with carrier capacity
- Conduct calls with carriers to negotiate transportation rates and determine availability
Required qualifications
- College or University degree
- 3-4 years of previous experience in Brokerage/carrier sales is an asset
- Strong understanding of North American geography
- Proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn new software easily
