Job Summary
Developing strategic business partnerships with outside service providers, the full-time Carrier Sales Representative will manage load boards, negotiate transportation rates, and provide exceptional service to contracted carriers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop capacity solutions to effectively support customers
- Manage a portfolio of carriers and cultivate relationships with carrier partners across various regions
- Prepare quotes and negotiate logistics rates while ensuring accurate order processing and follow-up
Required qualifications
- College or University degree
- 3-4 years of previous experience in Brokerage/carrier sales is an asset
- Strong understanding of North American geography
- Proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn new software easily
