Job Summary
A company is looking for a Case Management Specialist to manage workers compensation, disability, and liability cases while providing customer support and assisting medical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Access and assign cases for medical case management and utilization review
- Provide accurate information to callers and triage telephone calls
- Enter new claims data into the management system and maintain data integrity
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Associate's degree or two years of college preferred
- One year of administrative experience required
- Customer service experience in a medical field preferred
- Experience in worker's compensation, disability, and/or liability claims processing preferred
- Knowledge of medical and insurance terms, including ICD 9 and CPT coding systems
