Case Management Specialist

Job Summary

Managing all casualty and estate functions for state Medicaid beneficiaries, the part-time Casualty Case Management Specialist will oversee intake, claims review, and case management tasks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and government security requirements regarding Personal Health Information (PHI)
• Oversee 700-1,000 subrogation cases, managing correspondence, claims, and documentation throughout the recovery process
• Negotiate and finalize claim or lien settlements while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in subrogation, claims, or case management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; basic knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred
• Experience in a legal or insurance office setting is preferred
• Familiarity with Medicaid and/or Medicare programs is preferred
