Job Summary
Managing a caseload of leave of absence and workers' compensation cases, the full-time remote Case Manager - Absence Management will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while providing support and communication to employees, managers, and healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities
- Navigate inquiries regarding leave, workers' compensation, and disability events while providing holistic case management services
- Monitor and maintain records for work-related injuries and absences, preparing periodic reports on absence data
- Educate managers and employees on leave processes and ensure timely communication throughout the leave events
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience, preferably with FMLA and workers' compensation
- Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding workplace absence and disability
- Experience with Kronos and Workday systems preferred
- HR certification (i.e., CCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
