Job Summary

A company is looking for a Case Support Specialist who will coordinate patient case logistics to ensure compliance with operational turnaround times and meet Pathologist and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and monitor cases, providing status updates as needed
  • Act as a liaison between the Pathology Department and other departments, ensuring prompt responses to requests
  • Facilitate report changes and capture relevant clinical information for the laboratory information system
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in a science field preferred; relevant work experience considered
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the medical field or clinical laboratory preferred
  • Proficiency in databases, software applications, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Good typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
