Cash Application Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the part-time Cash Application Representative will research and apply customer payment remittances, resolve unapplied cash items, and maintain accurate financial records while working remotely on a contract basis for four months.

Key responsibilities

• Research and accurately apply customer payment remittances in a timely manner
• Resolve unapplied cash items, including lockbox deposits, credit card payments, and ACH/wire transfers
• Post payments to customer accounts and perform payment reconciliations

Required qualifications

• Experience with cash application, accounts receivable, or payment processing
• Strong computer skills, including experience with financial or accounting systems
• Ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Experience working with lockbox, ACH, wire, credit card, or third-party remittance payments is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
