Cash Application Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Cash Application Specialist will manage customer payments, ensuring accurate and timely application to accounts while maintaining records and supporting the Accounts Receivable team.

Key responsibilities

• Import and process customer payments across all business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Make decisions on applying payments to the correct accounts and maintain records of all payments received
• Analyze customer accounts for short payments and manage the deduction process accordingly

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with large data sets
• Minimum 1 year proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Filters, Formulas, VLookups, and Pivots
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Accounts Receivable or Cash Application role preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish at a proficient level for verbal and written communication
