Cash Applications Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading the Cash Application team, the full-time Team Lead will oversee the accurate and timely processing of customer payments, ensure compliance with internal controls, and drive performance improvements while working in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Cash Application team to ensure timely allocation of customer payments and issue resolution
• Implement action plans for continuous improvement in cash handling processes and ensure compliance with service levels
• Coach and develop team members while supporting process transitions and internal audits

Required qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a relevant field
• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in O2C operations
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a shared services environment
• Strong understanding of AR processes and financial controls with at least 3 years of accounting-related experience
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications
