Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cash Posting Specialist to oversee cash collections and reconciliation for Home Health & Hospice agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for collection efforts and procedures in collaboration with Executive Directors and Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders
• Provide training and coverage for cash posters during absences
• Maintain knowledge of payor contracts and government billing regulations, serving as a resource for agency personnel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in healthcare billing and collections management, preferably in home health and/or hospice operations
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Demonstrated capability to manage detailed information accurately
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, peers, and payers
• Exhibits ingenuity, autonomy, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in job responsibilities
