Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

To support a central Revenue Cycle team, the full-time Cash Posting Specialist will process insurance payments, reconcile deposits, and manage patient accounts in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post insurance payments via 835 and resolve any errors
• Research unidentified payments and recoupments to determine appropriate resolutions
• Post all payments accurately within 72 hours and maintain cash management logs for reconciliation

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing
• Knowledge of insurance ANSI/CAS Codes and medical billing practices
• Familiarity with Medicaid and Commercial payers
• Experience with medical computer software, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
