Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Working full-time in a remote capacity, the Cash Posting Specialist will manage the posting of patient and insurance payments, ensuring accurate cash application and reconciliation, while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance processes and drive improvements in the Accounts Receivable function.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately post a high volume of patient and insurance payments, including remittances and credit card transactions
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cash application and reporting
• Analyze cash application metrics and prepare reports on variances to support financial decision-making

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience in Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Accounting, or related fields
• At least one year of experience in healthcare data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
• Proficiency in cash flow processes and reconciliation within the revenue cycle
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in cash management functions
