Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, the full-time remote Cash Posting Specialist will manage manual and electronic payment postings, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Post manual and electronic patient and insurance payments, adjustments, and denials
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and reporting, including bank deposit downloads
• Research and resolve unapplied accounts and unidentified deposits

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of direct cash handling experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with MS Excel applications
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Strong organizational and time management skills
