Cash Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Cash Posting Specialist will accurately post, allocate, and reconcile payments from various sources, ensuring client accounts remain balanced and up to date in a high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, and reconcile payments from multiple sources, including electronic funds transfers, paper checks, and credit card transactions
• Accurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts in accordance with payer rules and internal procedures
• Perform daily balancing of assigned client accounts, ensuring alignment between payments, deposits, and financial documents

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cash posting, payment processing, or revenue cycle roles is preferred
• Strong multitasking ability in a deadline-driven environment
• High computer literacy and comfort with multiple systems and dual monitors
• Solid mathematical skills with the ability to identify and resolve numerical discrepancies
