Cash Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Cash Receivable Specialist, the full-time position will involve researching claims for proper reimbursement, managing payment processing, and collaborating with third-party payers to maximize collections.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately post payments from various sources into the billing system
• Balance cash reports and reconcile patient accounts, including adjustments and refunds
• Inspect Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) to understand payment details and resolve posting errors

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience in a physician office, hospital, or insurance claim processing unit
• General knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding requirements
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
