Cash Remittance PAR Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for posting payments and adjustments in a timely manner, the full-time Cash Remittance PAR Representative will work remotely to manage payment processing, verify electronic remittances, and assist with internal control performance within the healthcare revenue cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Print daily lockbox images and bank statements, and review insurance explanation of benefits to post payments accurately
• Investigate unidentified cash and resolve misdirected payments while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Participate in internal control self-assessment processes and report any violations of company policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience in healthcare customer service or insurance collections
• Strong knowledge of computer billing systems
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
• Experience in customer support or client issue resolution management
