Cash Specialist

Job Summary

To support the expansion of the Revenue department, the part-time Cash Specialist will be responsible for timely and accurate posting of insurance payments for vision care practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily posting and applying a high volume of payments received electronically or via check
• Investigating and resolving posting errors/issues and unapplied cash
• Supporting collection efforts and collaborating with Shared Services, Practices, and Field Operations

Required qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of EOBs and HCFA forms
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD codes
• 1-2 years of medical and vision experience preferred
• Experience in Accounts Receivable
• Prior use of Practice Management and EHR Systems preferred
