Job Summary
Managing the cashiering department, the full-time Cashiering Manager will oversee loan payment processing, ensure compliance with regulations, and mentor staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage operations of the cashiering department, including payment processing and reporting to senior management
- Ensure proper application of incoming payments and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and agency requirements
- Guide and mentor staff in credit reporting and operational compliance, addressing performance issues and supporting professional growth
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cash posting within loan servicing for mortgage banking or equivalent education and experience
- 1-3 years of management experience
- Knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to mortgage and consumer lending
- Experience with Black Knight/MSP Loan Servicing Software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyze complex accounts and performance metrics
