Job Summary
Accountable for the outcomes produced by direct reports, the full-time salaried Casualty Claims Supervisor will manage claim settlements, oversee team performance, and implement department initiatives in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and authorize settlements within authority, providing claim resolution techniques for complex claims
- Monitor team performance through audits and coaching, while developing career guidance for direct reports
- Communicate effectively to champion department initiatives and implement process changes to enhance productivity
Required qualifications
- Five to seven years of Casualty (Auto and GL) commercial lines claims experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related insurance experience
- Completion of AIC, AIM, or SCLA designations is a plus
- Leadership or supervisory training is desirable
