Casualty Claims Supervisor

Job Summary

Accountable for the outcomes produced by direct reports, the full-time salaried Casualty Claims Supervisor will manage claim settlements, oversee team performance, and implement department initiatives in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and authorize settlements within authority, providing claim resolution techniques for complex claims
• Monitor team performance through audits and coaching, while developing career guidance for direct reports
• Communicate effectively to champion department initiatives and implement process changes to enhance productivity

Required qualifications

• Five to seven years of Casualty (Auto and GL) commercial lines claims experience
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related insurance experience
• Completion of AIC, AIM, or SCLA designations is a plus
• Leadership or supervisory training is desirable
