Job Summary
Supporting underwriting for new and renewal Excess & Surplus (E&S) casualty accounts, the remote Casualty E&S Associate Underwriter will manage submission reviews, policy processing, and account servicing while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support underwriting of new and renewal E&S casualty accounts, including submission intake and review
- Process policy transactions such as new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Respond to broker inquiries and maintain organized underwriting files throughout the account lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of insurance experience in commercial lines, casualty, or underwriting support preferred
- Basic understanding of property & casualty insurance principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with underwriting systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
