CAT Modeling Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CAT Modeling Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze catastrophe exposure data across various lines of business
• Utilize catastrophe modeling software to model and quantify natural catastrophe risk
• Collaborate with team members to incorporate reinsurance structures into modeling and exposure management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or a related field
• Two or more years' experience modeling catastrophe losses in the insurance industry
• Experience in insurance and reinsurance with an understanding of underwriting concepts
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, and CAT modeling software, preferably Verisk
• Proficient at writing macros using VB scripts
