Job Summary
To support a rapidly growing national firm, the full-time Catastrophic Legal Specialist will manage claims verification, case investigation, and pre-litigation demand preparation for complex catastrophic injury cases while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct claims verification and case investigation, ensuring injuries meet catastrophic criteria and managing coverage verification
- Coordinate physical evidence collection and expert engagement, including arranging vehicle photography and retrieving relevant documentation
- Prepare demand packages and maintain organized case files for handoff to the Litigation team, identifying opportunities for process improvements
Required qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in personal injury law with paralegal or case management responsibilities
- Experience in pre-litigation workup, including coverage verification and demand preparation
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact empathetically with catastrophically injured clients
- Strong critical thinking skills to proactively identify case issues and documentation gaps
- Familiarity with catastrophic injury case types such as TBI, spinal injuries, and wrongful death
