Categorization Specialist

Job Summary

To support product eligibility determination, the part-time contract Categorization Specialist will manage the categorization of products within distinct Eligibility Category Groups (ECGs), conduct SKU reviews, and ensure compliance with HSA/FSA standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Apply Truemed's Product Eligibility Framework to categorize products and determine eligibility based on established standards
• Process merchant catalogs by reviewing new SKUs, cross-referencing with approved categories, and identifying errors
• Conduct daily reviews of manually uploaded SKUs to ensure compliance and correct category assignment

Required qualifications

• Background in health, clinical, nutrition, pharmacy, or regulatory/compliance, or experience with benefits eligibility and product categorization
• Ability to read and apply regulatory guidance consistently to product evaluations
• Experience managing high volumes of SKUs with precision and attention to detail
• Strong judgment skills to identify borderline cases and know when to escalate issues
• Self-directed with the ability to manage workflow and meet turnaround targets independently
