Category Analyst

Job Summary

Category Analyst, a full-time position responsible for delivering insights through data analysis to enhance sales and market share, while collaborating cross-functionally to address business questions and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage syndicated data platforms to generate insights for Sales and Category Management
• Support Category Management with data needs and lead recurring category analysis
• Conduct analysis for key sales initiatives and manage multiple projects concurrently

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in category, sales, or commercial analytics, preferably in the CPG industry
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SPINS or Nielsen required
• Ability to analyze data and communicate insights effectively to various audiences
• Demonstrated ability to frame data around business questions and draw actionable conclusions
• Strong planning, organization, and project management skills
