Category Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Category Analyst will manage report production, data preparation, and analytics to uncover shopper insights and support category growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the creation and maintenance of recurring reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Conduct analysis to identify trends and opportunities from a shopper perspective, supporting promotion and assortment reviews
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to provide data support for strategic initiatives and enhance reporting processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in analytics, category management, or market research
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and core formulas
• Experience working with large data sets, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
