Category and External Manufacturing Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category and External Manufacturing Director to lead procurement and category management for Metal Driven Compounds and North America Contract Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive procurement for Metal Driven Compounds and manage the product supply process
• Lead resolution plans for supply issues and monitor supplier performance metrics
• Develop cost reduction strategies and manage relationships with suppliers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum in relevant fields such as Procurement/Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, or Business
• Minimum of 7+ years of operations experience, with at least 5+ years in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing
• Experience in a regulated industry is preferred
• Demonstrated experience in category management and strategic sourcing
• Strong business and financial acumen, along with Strategic Sourcing expertise
