Job Summary

To support manufacturing operations, the full-time Category Buyer will manage direct material purchasing activities, collaborate with the Commodity Team, and develop supplier relationships while working in a hybrid schedule in Springfield, TN.

Key responsibilities

• Drive direct material purchasing for assigned components and ensure collaboration with the Commodity Team
• Analyze supplier quality, delivery, and cost metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Coordinate new suppliers and engineering changes with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• BS Degree in Business or Engineering preferred
• Minimum 2 years of progressive responsibility in a business function
• Relevant experience in purchasing, supply chain, or quality management
• Proven track record in effective purchasing management in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings of component parts preferred
