Category Consultant Food

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Consultant, Food West.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboratively work with Category Management and Sales Leadership to uncover insights, trends, shopper behaviors and competitive activity to shape customer strategy and build action plans
• Complete cross-functional projects with internal teams such as sales, category management, marketing, shopper insights and demand planning
• Utilization and application of traditional category management tools to ensure the execution and support of the strategic business plan

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Previous Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience (approximately 5-7 years)
• Advanced analytical skills and understanding of consumer/shopper behavior and market research strategies
• Knowledge of consumer sales industry trends
• Complete working knowledge of the category management process
