Category Controller

Job Summary

Responsible for all financial analysis and accounting needs for the category, the full-time salaried Category Controller will manage forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics while serving as a trusted partner to plant operations leaders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee category forecasting and monthly/annual budgeting
• Provide management with critical information for decision-making processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and Sarbanes-Oxley Act across multiple facilities

Required qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting (CMA/CPA preferred) with 10-12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word) and preferred experience with SAP ERP
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work
