Category Development Manager

Job Summary

Driving category growth through data analysis, the full-time Category Development Manager will manage the relationship with Walmart merchants, providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales and market share from the Rogers, AR sales office.

Key responsibilities:

• Gather, synthesize, and analyze category and shopper data to inform Walmart merchants on business performance and growth opportunities
• Lead buyer meetings and support Walmart's modular planning process with accurate, compliant recommendations aligned to category strategy
• Deliver competitive and shopper insights using multiple data sources, developing structured storytelling in presentation decks to communicate effectively

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in Sales, Category Management, or Supply Chain
• Proven ability to leverage shopper insights for category and brand growth
• Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and reporting development
• Experience with Space Planning tools and familiarity with syndicated data
