Category Insights Senior Analyst
Job Summary
As a critical analytical resource for national clients, the full-time remote Category Insights Senior Analyst will deliver consumer and marketplace insights, collaborate with sales teams, and provide direction to Business Intelligence Analysts while diagnosing business problems and driving growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic business insights and market data to inform plan adjustments and execution
- Contribute to retail trade and promotional pricing recommendations through pre- and post-promotional analysis
- Develop impactful customer-specific selling stories for business reviews and market assessments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; certification in category management is a plus
- 3 to 5 years of CPG or retail data analytics experience
- Expert in turning multiple data sources into business-driving insights
- Advanced experience with Circana Unify Office Platform and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups; familiarity with database tools like Alteryx or MS Access is a plus
