Category Leader, Electronic Components

Job Summary

To establish a robust category management process for electronic components, the full-time Global Category Leader, Electronic Components will develop strategic plans, conduct market research, and ensure supply assurance while collaborating with internal stakeholders and managing supplier relationships in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategy plans and financial roadmaps for electronic components, prioritizing supply assurance and cost-saving initiatives
• Conduct market intelligence research and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align category strategies with business needs
• Manage supplier performance and develop contingency plans to ensure production continuity and mitigate supply disruption risks

Required Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, specifically with electronic components and EMS suppliers
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain preferred, with basic technical knowledge of electronic components
• Proven experience in structuring contracts and managing business relationships
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on collaboration for cost optimization
• Ability to influence and mentor team members and stakeholders across the organization
